A busy week here at Redmoor Property Consultants that included good progress with pre-construction planning for an upcoming infrastructure project in Plymouth and a series of post-completion review meetings for two large refurbishments.
The week also included a visit to Birmingham to attend the 2025 eXp Property Conference. Although this was an important networking event, it was most memorable for a presentation that was given by the Olympian, Sir Chris Hoy.
Chris’ story of hard work and commitment to achieve his Olympic goals is truly inspiring. However, his mindset and attitude in dealing with a terminal cancer diagnosis and trying to share his message around prostate cancer screening is phenomenal.
Chris had no obvious symptoms except for an ongoing sore shoulder, so visited his doctor. Following further investigation, it was revealed that he had a prostate cancer diagnosis at the age of just 47.
