One of our clients over recent years has been Willow Childcare Centre in Plympton, where we have been appointed to design, manage and oversee multiple projects. These have included a classroom and office refurbishment, a WC remodelling and upgrade and a flat roof replacement. Each of these projects were completed within ‘live’ and operational site environments where the safety of pupils, staff and visitors were of paramount importance.

Redmoor’s team worked from inception to completion to overcome the challenges of the project and successfully manage through the Feasibility, Statutory Approvals, Detailed Design, Tendering and subsequent appointment of a main contractor. Once works commenced on site, Redmoor worked alongside the Client and contractors to continue to monitor progress by ensuring communication and co-ordination to complete the projects and ensure that disruption to the running of the nursery was kept to a minimum.

As the images show, the result of this work was a bright, modern nursery that was both welcoming and inviting but above anything it created an environment where younger generations could be inspired.
